For services such as nursing homes or home health care providers, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regularly monitors these providers and calculates a star rating based on their findings. The staff has been courteous and accomodating for the most part. We have encountered a few staff members that are less than gentle but they are the exception not the rule. The food remains my mother's main criticism of the facility.
